  1. COMING SOON: Integrated Roof LED Light Bar for Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator JT!

One reason I won't install anything up there is because in our weather, the wet snow would build up badly. I have seen it on trucks with the shades over the windshield. In wet, heavy snow or ice, it builds up and can't fly up and over. Would love to see this tested in one of our winters.
  2. Battery charging Numbers

Mine runs 13.0 when driving, climbs up to 14 or so when coasting, etc. It used to run steady 14.0-14.3 until I charged the batteries again. Now it's running where it should run. Then the IBS is "off calibration" or there's some other reason it's not fully charging. Even with the bypass, it...
  3. I hope this wasn't anyone here.........

Pretty proud of themselves - for a while, anyway, posting a video. Geesh.
  4. I hope this wasn't anyone here.........

Article I looked at didn't include video. They did say they know who it was.
  5. I hope this wasn't anyone here.........

Seriously - destruction of historical structure. They didn't hear of anchoring down low? Maybe a fine to help pay for the damages or costs involved when people break things.
  6. Waiting for the tow truck.. My 2023 Gladiator Mojave has all of 3500 original mikes. We take a weekend getewayand around 250 mi the engine warning li

True - but you have to understand what does what, what parts control other parts, and read diagrams and schematics. Conversions, no, but I guess my point is - they don't have understanding of the basics. If the code reader doesn't guide them, if it's not one some laminated troubleshooting...
  7. 4xe Gladiator Hybrid (PHEV) Confirmed by Jeep CEO for 2025! ⚡️

The problem with all of the comparing going on is the misguided bit about switching back and forth - "switch drive power rom electric to gas and go back again". You don't do that. With a PHEV, you have a few miles on electric if you choose, but it's a hybrid. There's no switching back and forth...
  8. Cowl Lights for serious snow?

Get too high, and it's more like this -
  9. Lights for snow

The lights - they'd fit the Mojave color scheme then.
  10. Windshield insurance

Aha. It's not just my computer, this forum is doubling up on photos. There's another thread with the same pair of pictures at least 3 times. I know the poster didn't do it...............
  11. Lights for snow

What if I paint them orange?
  12. Synergy two inch front springs installed

Yeah, it will settle some over time - but you can always stick in Daystar 3/4" spacers, Synergy says it's ok with their springs.
  13. Curious about the 3.2 vs. 3.6 Oil Specs

Your post adds to my thinking - I wonder if some of what at least a few people here is injector tick. My 4.0 is a loud engine - granted, with the comp xtreme 4x4 cam the valve train isn't quiet, I think some of the noise is injector sounds. Normally those injectors just sit there, dry, in a...
  14. Synergy two inch front springs installed

If you got a full 2" lift with them, then likely there's some shifting of the axle to the left, causing the top of the spring to be offset from the bottom. These are flat top and bottom springs and should sit as straight up and down as possible. They are guaranteed to not bow. You got a lot...
  15. Lights for snow

Oh, just great. Thanks a lot. Now I have to lock up my snow plow, too??? Luckily, it's insured......

I'd love to see some "technicians" do as I did and merge a 1994 engine with all of the electronics, controls, PCM, PDC and other fun stuff into a 1982 car and make it work together. It took going through page after page of the 1994 TSM, finding out what each pin in the PCM connectors did, and...
  17. Misfire investigation (in part)

Sad, because in a shop where I worked, if the boss had been made aware of such a thing - he'd say "ok, which if you clowns screwed this up, get it in here now and take care of it" (he might actually have used the words "horse's ass" but he'd say that out of earshot of the customer)
  18. Serious Spring Concerns

Sounds like he's had these springs 5 years??? And just now bowing like that? Something has shifted. If it was the angle of the axle he'd have noticed it long ago -unless he never looks under there. That's not a big lift, and shouldn't throw the axle tilt off far enough to cause troubles.
  19. Curious about the 3.2 vs. 3.6 Oil Specs

Fun, another oil thread................ I've always run exactly what the book says to run in my Jeeps. Mine are quiet as they should be - in fact, twice I've gotten out forgetting to shut it off. Hey, its' still running - didn't notice until I started to get out. 5w20 actually overlaps the...
  20. Serious Spring Concerns

Always love the term "reputable shop". It might mean that no one has recognized less than great work. I've fixed a lot of stuff screwed up by "reputable shops". Anyway - make sure the top spring isolator is correctly seated and the nibs are through the holes in the top And yet the MOPAR 2"...
