I dinged by bed and fenders February 2024. I decided to leave the bed dent but replace the fenders. The new fenders have been in my basement for almost nine months, I am too lazy to install them.
I would leave the dent.
The stock Mojave is amazing, very capable for most trails and light rock crawling without a front locker. Mine is well built with front lockers, RCV front axle shafts, spicer chromoly rear axle shafts, Tom Woods drive shafts front and rear, 3” JKS loft with 37” tires, and a few other improvements.
I have had Dynatracs installed on my JT with 3” lift and 37s for about 17k miles. All is good so far. I was getting DW and it went away after the install. I installed them on my wife’s JLR for good measure, she would not like DW.
I used Dobinson HD coils in the back to fix my squat.
I agree with @Slipshodman that airbags are more for temporary weight. I tried them when I had an ACCC installed and was not happy with them.
Hey. I weighed two of the shocks and their shipping box at 38 lbs. I would need to get a box for the other set, It I would guess it would be about the same.
We may be able to make it down there the weekend of the 13th, but it will be weather dependent. I can hold the shocks for you until then, or until you are able it make it a bit closer.
