I have limited space between the garage door opener and the roof when it’s parked. I mounted two pieces of unistrut with two trolleys each. Once the roof is off, I can slide it back and raise it.

Like many other, I am limited by garage height. I mounted two pieces of unistrut on the ceiling. Using two trolleys on each side, I can lift the top off, then slide it back and raise it higher.

Finally got mine naked today. Made a home made hoist inspired by posts here. My garage isn’t very tall and the top is right under my garage door opener when parked. I mounted two pieces of unistrut with four trolleys so when the top comes off I can slide it back and raise it.

My garage isn’t very tall and the top sits right under the garage door opener so not a lot of clearance when taking the top off. I mounted two pieces of unistrut and use four trolleys so that when the top comes off I can slide it back and raise it higher.
