Go rhino 5” 1000 series nerf bars

Just installed the go rhino 5” 1000 series and I like them... especially for the price you can’t go wrong!!

About $200 shipped. Only slight beef is they have 3 brackets per side not 4 Like the gladiator has. You can see it in the picture the third gladiator bracket mount holes are open. Should I call and ask for a fourth per side ?

Thats a good price. They are $100 more at Quadratec.

The more I look at the side bars the more I get annoyed that go rhino didn’t include a fourth bracket. They should charge another $15-20 bucks if they need to and just include the bracket, I will most likely return and get something else if it isn’t resolved simply for the principle of things.

I look at like a company sending me 5 out 6 lugs and says it’s fine you don’t need the 6th. Same thing here... gladiator was made to have 4 mounts and go rhino either 1) totally missed this and should own up to it or 2) was totally being cheap and misleading the customer. If #2, not a company I want to buy stuff from!!

I totally agree with you on the brackets . GoRhino should include 4 mounting brackets .Could it be their design staff just extended the wrangler rails without thinking about larger span the Gladiator has.

Update: called quadratech and they said the picture (on their website, which is of a gladiator) was sent from go rhino with 4 brackets per side. However, they said only 3 come with the bars per side, per the instructions.

I called real truck today and explained the situation. They were really helpful (and agreed) and are going to reach out to go rhino with the concerns and try to get a 4th bracket.... fingers crossed.

I have attached pictures of the quadratech page and my Jeep. Currently real Jeep doesn’t have a vehicle specific picture...

I don't know what going on here but a few weeks ago I ask GoRhino for a picture of their rails on a Jeep Gladiator . The picture I received from them look changed from the original. Like a bracket was erased .If all the advertise pictures of their rails installed on other web sites show 4 brackets why would someone doctor up a picture ? Richard

The above picture clearly someone photoshopped the Jeep to not have the third (out of 4) bracket. They clearly photoshopped it because a gladiator has a fourth mounting bracket and side body mounting holes. Also if you look at the photo closely it’s blurry and you can’t see the stock rivets.

I’m still waiting on a response from go rhino to do the right thing...

FINAL UPDATE: I just talked to go rhino and they are sending me a 4th bracket for free. The rep said they made the decision to have 3 vs 4 brackets to cut the cost. He said they may go back to the drawing board and let the consumer make the decision to upgrade to a 4th bracket as an option.

In my opinion, on a white Jeep like mine... 3 brackets looks really off. This may be the case with all other colors except black where you wouldn’t notice it as much.

In the end I would say I am definitely satisfied with their response and the product is a nice product!

So I retract my above post. Go rhino has sent me 5 sets of brackets and not one set fits in the third slot.

I will not be doing business with them in the future. Pretty frustrated of them not being capable of figuring it out.
