Northern Lower Michigan camping trip with 2023 Mojave Gladiator

I'm from Yale, St. Clair County, about 25 miles west of Port Huron. Headed back for a visit in two weeks, going to camp at Lakeport State Park on the Lake.
My JTRD will be towing my TT from coastal VA to MI and back.

I went to Blissfield High School in SE Michigan.

The mascot used to be the Sugar Boys up until the late 50s.

7 year old me thought everyone down here was 4 foot tall and lived entirely on sugar beets

Used to go to the Manistee and camp every year, Fife Lake/Manton area. Not a lot of technical wheeling to my knowledge but we sure used to tear up the old sand logging roads in an XJ!
