So first off glade there the hostages are being released.
But my real question is this. What is this vehicle? And when will they be released in the US?

I’ve driven them in Africa and they are the best overlanding set up vehicle you can get. I tried to get one when I came back to the states but the closest thing I could get was the Gladiator…

I thought there was a Toyota guy in the Midwest with a small YT following that has one.

As far as looks the FJ55 would be the one that looks like the 70 series. Had a FJ55 years ago and it was a real battle wagon. The ride was super harsh too.

If you are ever in Salt Lake, be sure to take an afternoon to stop at the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum. I'm a sucker for Land Cruisers and the 80-series in particular - but even if you're a Jeep loyalist, it's a very cool place to visit.

Kind of neat that the largest collection of Land Cruisers in the world is here in the western US- including some very unique one-of-a-kind and last-remaining examples you can't see anywhere else, not even Toyota has them.
