Everyone seems to like the center force. But southbend has a kit too. I'm sure either is better than what we're stuck with.
That being said, my wife has the replacement clutch in her 2018, and it feels really, really good
But I don't know when they'll get to us on the replacement list. Mine...
Guys, I just drove my wife's 2018 for the first time post repair. It's definitely an entirely different clutch. It feels like a normal clutch now. Nice and firm. It feels great.
I think they have to, eventually, since it's an NHTSA recall. But I don't know when eventually is. I think they're fixing the older ones first, while also churning out new ones. We're last in line.
The gearing is the same, so I assume the transmission is too. But I sat in a 24 wrangler and worked the pedal a few times. The clutch feels much stronger. That is, it actually has some feedback. My wife's new replacement clutch feels better too. I don't know if it's just because it's new, or if...
Has anyone heard anything at all about the 21+ gladiators? My wife's 2018 Wrangler just came back from the repair this afternoon, but they still have no clue when parts for my 2021 Gladiator will be ready. I'm getting real frustrated.
I think I'm more frustrated because they have brand new...
Is jeep making any progress at all? Any rumors? The crappy thing is that, right now, my truck is worthless with an open recall. If jeep won't fix it, I kind of just want to trade both of ours for manual Broncos.
But, I can't, no one wants to buy a vehicle with an open recall. Were left holding...
Don't worry about it is key. 6th is pretty near useless on these. I see it only on long stretches of flat empty freeway (constant speed). Otherwise, 4th or 5th on the highway, sometimes 3rd up a mountain or if I need a burst of "jeep speed". I stopped worrying about having to be in 6th a couple...
I'm holding off on the center force, for FCA to finally get parts ready and issued for this latest recall. Then, as soon as they finish the recall on mine, I'm going aftermarket. I know that doesn't make sense, but i don't want there to be a permanent open recall on my truck, and once I get an...
Old post, but this happened to me today. My doors are off, so I'm going to see if I can replicate it when I get back home. I hope so. It'll make me feel a lot better if that's the cause. It said fob not detected, and would not start even with the key pressed against the button. It did start...
If we weren't so far apart, I'd say chances would be good that we've probably conversed in a Home Depot parking lot. I'm that guy too. And I think it takes people by surprise, especially when I compliment a small Japanese sports car or an Audi and talk to their owners about them. I'm a gearhead...
Not on the 7". Just on the 8.4". One of the perks of the upgraded screen, I suppose. Once in Android Auto on the 7", only Android screen shortcuts show up at the bottom once you open an app. You have to go the the main Android auto screen to exit or to open another app.
When new, yes. But when it gets old and the vinyl shrinks and the zippers break, no fun. I do like that the new ones are zipperless. I also miss our TJ. My favorite jeep, other than the lack of AC.
Ok. Yes, I agree, not as flat as previous generations, but I thought you were referring to the retracted but not down position that I see often now, and the only option we get on gladiators. I think part of the JLU design was to give the option of many more modes to put the top down (front only...
Here's one on YouTube. I know there are two different soft tops, and I don't know if the non-premium one folds differently. But this one looks like ours does.
