I like the look but not sure what these accomplish. Entry lights? Or increased visibility when walking around when camping? Not trolling actually curious.

They do both. When you put on the turn signal the light flashes amber for greater visibility to cars on either side. And since there is not an entry light, when the door opens, white light illuminates the ground below the door. AND it looks great in that "vent" spot.

Do the white lights come on at night when the vehicle is in motion? Or when the doors are off? Just a question. We are blessed with some very picky police in this State (Oregon). A real pain!

Great question.

It will go out when the interior courtesy lights go off. Not on any other time.

That looks great! I have seen others do decals on the Sidetrack.
