Is there a conversion kit for diy hemi swap

When I had a JK, AEV offered a hemi conversion kit: you buy your own engine transmission but they sold you the harness etc. and you could “easily” do a swap in your garage.

are there any kits like that for the JT?

You can buy a DIY kit from AMW4x4 and Dakota Customs. Dakota Customs is supply your own powertrain. AMW can do that but they also offer a brand new powertrain in the kit as well if you want it.

Can you mate a 6psd trans to any of these conversions?

Yes, One of the most common OE swaps for a 6sp done by AMW is a SRT Hellcat 6 speed, they heavily modify the rear casing to accept a transfer case. other than that most kits will be a generic T56 variant with adapter plates.

@mintyjl. Those are all shops. Not diy. Got any references to diy at home garage kits?

You have to call them homie. If you're looking to do any kind of swap, you need to do some leg work. There is not a single swap out there with an Easy button.

My long term plan is to take over the Gladiator from my wife in 5-6 years and have it replace our 88 4runner as a more dedicated trail rig.

So with that, axles and engine swaps will happen.

But there's no universe where I pay 20k for a kit and have to supply my own engine and transmission lol. I will booger weld stock truck mounts to the frame wherever they hit and party on with no dash
